I had the honor of traveling to the Naval Academy to provide art direction for Episode 28 of Faces of the Fleet featuring midshipman Kaylah Gillums. Collaborating closely with the production team from pre to post production, we were able to capture a piece of Kaylah’s inspiring story to share with prospective sailors.

Rate trading cards
In order to educate the general public on the many rates (jobs) the Navy has to offer, I designed a series of rate trading cards. Each card features a Navy rating, the rating’s insignia and a bit of insight into what each job entails. When posted on social accounts, users are driven to corresponding career pages on Navy.com with a swipe or a click.

Snapchat Lens
For the month of July, we created a Lens that allowed Snapchatters to become part of the Navy Band—complete with fireworks and patriotic music. It became the most successful Lens of the year for the Navy with: 9 M total impressions, 518K shares, 16.63 S of average play time, 6.68% share rate, drove > 40 sign ups
